Beyoncé Shows Off Her Goods in Latest Adidas Ivy Park Collab Lookbook
Queen B is at it again and the Hive is living for it! Beyoncé looks hot showing off what God gave her in her latest lookbook for Ivy Park. Wearing her latest collection, this is her first offering since collaborating with sportswear giant Adidas. And unsurprisingly, the collection takes athleisure to a new fashionable and extremely luxurious high. While blue might be Pantone‘s color of the year this 2020, but Beyoncé and Ivy Park, it’s all about maroon, burgundy, scarlet, and a bright pop of orange. This largely dark and brooding color scheme dominates her latest collection for her athleisure brand. It features an array of hoodies, sporty separates, bodysuits, and more that flatter and hug her figure like her own stage pieces. One, in particular—a maroon button-up boilersuit—features three yellow stripes harkening back to Adidas’ iconic logo. She wears this piece multiple times throughout the lookbook, even accessorizing it with diamond necklaces to further show off its luxurious appeal.
A similar piece—a bodysuit with varsity sleeves—also looks noteworthy in its figure-hugging silhouette. In fact, the garment fits the songstress so well, she wore it in two shots. One features her popping her behind on a bicycle paired with matching sock boots. The latter will likely sell like hotcakes as the silhouette of the footwear is extremely popular right now. The other photo she sports the bodysuit in is a solo shot with Queen B also wearing a shining nylon body bag. Additionally, the bag’s logo-ed yellow strap dangles an Adidas kick that’s likely part of the collection’s footwear.
As for the orange-hued numbers, they go way beyond standard sportswear. One outfit consists of what looks like an organza-made dress complete with three-striped bishop sleeves and a pleated skirt. The piece looks, perhaps, the collection’s most traditionally sophisticated and luxurious number. It almost harkens back to the high fashion sportswear looks that designer labels show off during Fashion Week. While another orange knock-out is a tangerine skinny ruched jumpsuit paired with a billowing nylon opera coat that piles on the drama. This is yet another example of how many of the pieces in this collection look stage-ready for a star of Beyoncé’s caliber.
More than just what the singer wore in the lookbook, the brand also released a teaser video. It offers a further sneak peek into the rest of the collection. It showed more hoodies, tracksuits, and more in other hues and colorways. Beyoncé also released an official statement upon unveiling the lookbook. “It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner. My team has worked hard with the Adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly.” she shared.
The Adidas x Ivy Park collaboration line will drop on January 18, 2020. What do you think of this collection? Are there any pieces you’re already looking at? Share your thoughts and reactions in our comments section below!
