Creamfields Locks In Calvin Harris, Alesso, & More For 2020
Another festival just got a whole lot better with their lineup. England’s Creamfields Music Festival just revealed their star-studded lineup for 2020. And similarly to previous years, this year’s roster includes home-grown talent and some of the biggest names in the EDM scene today. No doubt, it’s going to be a hell of a rave!
See the full 2020 lineup of Creamfields Music Festival below: The hype for Creamfields Music Festival had already begun even before they announced the first full wave of their 2020 lineup. Previously, they already revealed that Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Nina Kraviz, Carl Cox, and The Chainsmokers will headline this year’s event. Now, they’ve included the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto, Charlotte de Witte, and more in their full lineup. It’s important to note, however, that this is only the first wave of their 2020 lineup. Fans can expect more big names to pop up in the coming months prior to the festival. Last year, Creamfields offered around 300 headliners.
Out of all the announced headliners, fans likely anticipate Calvin Harris the most. He has already dominated the Creamfields stage last year and contributed to its unprecedented success. This time around, he has new music he can include in his new set. Last week, the Scottish DJ dropped a new ep, “Love Regenerator“. Harkening back to 90s EDM, Harris shared that this new release showcases a totally different vibe from him. “I wanted to rediscover the way I originally began producing music 22 years ago before I ever thought about how it might be perceived by outside forces. Just pure fun and experimentation with what sounded good to me,” he said. Meanwhile, another crowd, Martin Garrix, is set to have the biggest year of his career yet. Apart from Creamfields 2020, he will also headline Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Escapade, and more. In fact, at Ultra Miami, his own label, STMPD RCRDS, will take over the famous UMF Stage during Phase 2 of the festival. And the festival has only given such a privilege to those of his caliber. But beyond headlining festivals, Garrix has also been hosting his own raves. Just this past weekend, he took over the DAER day club for his first-ever Super Bowl party. He hyped up fans just in time for the big game!
Not to be left behind, Nina Kraviz faces a big year ahead as well. Like Garrix, she also has a long list of festivals to headline this 2020. Apart from Creamfields, Medusa, Terminal V, and Parklife 2020 have all booked the Russian DJ. In a male-dominated industry, Kraviz has stood out as one of few female DJs that can draw in as many crowds as her male counterparts. If not, she wouldn’t have gotten all these major gigs. Creamfields Festival 2020 will run from August 27 to 30, 2020 at Daresbury in Cheshire, United Kingdom. As this is only the first wave of headliners for this year’s lineup, expect that the festival to announce more in the coming months. Stay tuned on this space for more updates.
