All you headbangers in Florida, get ready! Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival will return next year and they just revealed their exciting lineup. From Excision to Rezz, and Marauda to Dion Timmer, bass artists will reign supreme in this event. They recently released the full lineup on Twitter and fans got to see who they’ll be dancing to this 2020.  Forbidden Kingdom is one of those unique festivals that center around a distinct theme. Using a dragon as its unofficial mascot, the event boasts a medieval theme. The setting almost harkens back to a Renaissance fair, with people in costumes walking around and various structures depicting medieval architecture. Just the stage, for instance, has itself become an iconic visual from the festival. It features the red dragon, perched atop the stage, positioned if it’s ready to pounce on the enemy. Though it’s not as frivolous a stage as some will see in the likes of Tomorrowland, it’s become a distinguishable characteristic for the festival.

For the 2020 festival, Excision will take the top spot in the billing. He will play both as himself and will perform another of his famous ‘Detox’ sets. Confirming the news on Twitter, he relayed how excited he felt to return to Florida. He tweeted, “Stoked to be back at @FKMusicFest! Last year was insane!!” accompanied by what looks like his official image for the event. However, this isn’t the only 2020 festival Excision is gearing up for. He also has his famous Thunderdome Festival which will also return next year. In it, he plans to present a new audiovisual stage called “The Evolution”.  Packing in the DJ girl power, Rezz will also headline the festival. The Canadian DJ has been gaining momentum as of late. Just recently, she dropped a new single featuring Malaa entitled, “Criminals”. Both artists have longed teased about the collaboration before releasing it. Rezz even played a sneak peek of it during her gig at Houston’s Freaky Deaky festival this past Halloween. Eventually, they dropped it via Tchami‘s label, Confession. “I have known MALAA for a long time now, we knew we’d work together someday.” Rezz shared about her latest collaborator. It’s highly likely she might play the track for her upcoming performances, which may include her ‘Forbidden Kingdom’ gig.

Out of all the DJs booked for this festival, Dion Timmer is among one of the youngest. Yet don’t let his age fool you, he’s been busy playing the game for years now. In an interview with EDM.com, he revealed that he started touring when at age 17. He continued to perform in all sorts of gigs for three years now. The young producer also announced that he’s currently working on a new album. “I’m actually preparing a brand new album I’m going to release next year, and it’s going to be on a dope-ass label.” he shared.  Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival will run from March 15 to 16, 2020. It will take place at the Sunset Cove in Boca Raton, Florida. Tickets have gone on sale now. To get to them, click here
