Camila Cabello just took one step closer to releasing her new album. The pop singer just unveiled a new single, “Living Proof,” ahead of dropping her upcoming record, “Romance,”. It follows her recent announcement of the album’s drop date and that she plans to go on a North American tour to promote it.

Listen to Camila Cabello’s “Living Proof” below:

Similarly to “Señorita,” this new song features a sensually slow and calm tempo. The flow of the track works well with the Latina pop star’s soulful vocals. In fact, “Living Proof” might just be her most soulful work to date. Notably, the song starts with some Spanish dialogue until the first beats officially begin the song. Cabello continues on with incorporating her Hispanic roots with her music. From “Havana” and “Señorita” to this new release, she’s establishing herself as the next Latina pop star to watch for. And in fact, some might argue that she’s more ‘Spanish’ than those who’ve come before her.

Just the album cover for “Romance” alone, which she unveiled just recently too, embraces her Hispanic culture. The image shows Cabello wearing a sexy red leather bralette and a matching tiered tulle skirt. She sits seductively as her feet and the bottom of her skirt are submerged in water. Her outfit almost looks like a more ostentatious take on a classic salsa dance look. Meanwhile, people making out and have their own romantic rendezvouses surround her in what looks like a baroque-style room in a mansion. Overall, the image almost looks like a poster for a telenovela, further emphasizing her Latin touch on the album.

I can’t believe this is happening. Romance. December 6. I just wanted this album to sound like what falling in love feels like, pretty impossible thing to do but I can say I gave it all I had. I’ve never lived as much life as I did writing this album. It was messy, and beautiful, unforgettable and at times so painful I wish I could forget, it was excruciatingly consuming and impossible not to get lost in, it was mine… and now it’s yours. ♥️ I hope you love it as much as I’ve loved living it. You can preorder the album this Friday ♥️ and there’s a new song Living proof that comes out with the pre order this Friday 😭 one of the first and one of my favorite songs I wrote for the album. WHOAH. Overwhelmed. ♥️ OH MY GOD AND A TOUR!!!!! North America, verified fan sign ups for #TheRomanceTour are happening right now!! It’s gonna be magic, I can’t wait 😭 More dates to come ♥️ #RomanceIsComing

“I just wanted this album to sound like what falling in love feels like, pretty impossible thing to do but I can say I gave it all I had. I’ve never lived as much life as I did writing this album. It was messy and beautiful, unforgettable and at times so painful I wish I could forget, it was excruciatingly consuming and impossible not to get lost in, it was mine… and now it’s yours.” Cabello revealed about the album. From what she said, it seems like “Romance” might sound like one of her more personal works to date.

In fact, in the department of romance, Cabello is currently an expert in that field. Ever since releasing their single, “Senorita,” she and Shawn Mendes have openly displayed their new relationship. From makeout videos to stark PDAs, both singers are evidently proud of the relationship. Just recently, paparazzi snapped photos of the pair making out and openly hugging and touch each other during an NBA game. A shot of two elderly women who sat beside them and watched them go full PDA even went viral on social media. It’s no surprise if some songs on this album will be about Mendes. Camila Cabello’s upcoming “Romance” album will drop on December 6, 2019. Her North American tour, on the other hand, will begin on July 20, 2020, in Vancouver, Canada. She will have 26 dates throughout the region for the tour.
