In an anniversary episode of her Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj gave her fans a show to remember. Celebrating the one year since she released her “Queen” album and the first episode of her radio show, the rapper invited a few guests to join her broadcast. This included the host of “The Joe Budden Podcast” radio show, Joe Budden. And things heated up real quick! Throughout the episode, Budden was throwing a lot of shade to Minaj and how she’s handled her career. It started when the rapper confirmed that her team-up with Megan Thee Stallion is an organic collaboration that started when the latter praised her during an Instagram live session. Budden, on the other hand, insisted that the session and the collaboration were nothing more than usual show business tactics to increase the hype for the single. He also alluded to Migos‘ single “MotorSport,” which featured both Minaj and her former rival Cardi B. Similarly, Budden accused the rapper of using her public feud to better market the track.

As the broadcast continued, Budden then accused Minaj of using drugs. “Your entire last album did that. Your past is littered with it. Who gives a fuck what she pop? But don’t sit here and act like you’ve never popped a pill,” said the podcast host. Already angered, the rapper pushed back and accused Budden of taking a misogynistic approach on this conversation. “Are you that fucking dumb? You like tearing down women when they can’t defend themselves.” Minaj shouted. She then cut off Budden’s mic and continued the broadcast with Rory and Mal instead. A few hours later, Budden tweeted, “Spicy,” possibly talking about the heated episode.

For now, despite that tumultuous Queen Radio broadcast, Minaj is focusing on other things. Her latest featured single by Megan Thee Stallion and with Ty Dolla $ign, “Hot Girl Summer,” just dropped last Friday. And just recently, the two rappers confirmed they were filming a music video for the single. Minaj posted a picture with Thee Stallion and Lala Anthony (who’ll make a cameo in the music video) all in high ponytails and campy neon outfits. It looks like fans are going to get a fun music video after all.

Furthermore, Minaj also revealed recently that she’s going to marry her long-time beau Kenneth Petty within the next 80 days. The rapper had long implied how serious her relationship with Petty. She’d refer to him as her husband and he even made a cameo in her last music video for “Megatron“. He makes love with the rapper in it, whether in a jacuzzi or in a neon-pink lighted hotel room.

However, Minaj did assure her fans that she has no nor has any plans to elope. She explained, “We filed for the marriage license and we still had to pick it up and I was traveling, by the time I came back, we had to renew it again. From that time, you have 90 days to get married. That was about a week ago, so now I have about 80 days.”As of now, there’s still no news as to when Minaj will release her upcoming album. There’s also no news when Megan Thee Stallion will drop the music video for “Hot Girl Summer”.
