Forbes Under 30 Summit just revealed their line-up for their music festival and it’s not one to miss. This year, they got the likes of The Chainsmokers, rapper 21 Savage, and Fifth Harmony member Normani as their main headliners. Amidst talks with some of today’s most influential leaders in business, sport, entertainment, and more, these artists will perform at Forbes’ for the annual musical event. Forbes began their Under 30 Summit back in 2014, when their “30 Under 30” list became popular among their readers and in pop culture. The idea was to bring in various industry professionals and influential figures from diverse fields to talk about key issues in society today. This year, their list of keynote speakers include tennis world champion and businesswoman Serena Williams, TV personality and chef Antoni Porowski, and Shutterstock founder and CEO Jon Oringer. They have over 200+ speakers for their 2019 edition, which promises to serve as an aspiring event for young people to strive and survive harder for a better future.

Ultimately, The Chainsmokers’ inclusion on this year’s line up isn’t much of a surprise. The EDM duo topped the magazine’s list of highest-paid DJs this year, dethroning Calvin Harris after a multiple-year streak at the top. They’ve also played at numerous festivals this year, such as the recently-concluded Lollapalooza in Chicago and at Tomorrowland last month. The duo contributed to the recent rise of EDM and have enjoyed massive popularity for a couple of years or so now. Their songs often achieved mainstream success, as compere to their contemporaries. Furthermore, Forbes also included member Drew Taggart in this year’s coveted “30 Under 30” list. Normani, on the other hand, was a bit of a surprise. In fact, she only recently decided to pursue a solo career. She is currently in the midst of finishing her first solo album. However, she’s no neophyte when it comes to taking on the stage on her own. The singer has also collaborated with a variety of other artists, including Sam Smith, Khalid, and Calvin Harris, among others. Just recently, she shared that Ariana Grande helped co-write her latest upcoming single, “Motivation”. “She’s done!” the Fifth Harmony member shared about her collaborator. “I talk to her about the creative process. I’m like, “When did you know your album was done?” (She’s) just like, “Honestly, you’ll know,”.

Subsequently, Rapper 21 Savage is also a delightful addition to this year’s lineup. He debuted relatively recently but has already caught the attention of millions of fans, as well as Forbes magazine. His first studio album, “Issa Album,” debuted at number 2 on Billboard’s Hot 200 album charts. And just recently, Tequila Avión tapped the young rapper as the face of their latest ad campaign, “Being Borderless”. They released a video featuring 21 Savage talking about his passion for aviation. He also touched on what it means to be an immigrant in the US at this tumultuous time.

Forbes’ Under 30 Summit will take place Detroit, Michigan from October 27 to 30, 2019. You can buy tickets for the event by clicking here.
