Halloween is about to get more lit! HARD’s Day of the Dead just announced their 2019 lineup and it’s scary good! They locked in the likes of Dog Blood, Tokimonsta, the Martinez brothers, and more. It’s going to be a wild ‘Day Of the Dead’ for Los Angeles this fall! HARD first introduced the line-up in their recently-concluded HARD Summer 2019 festival at The Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. This edition itself also saw major success, with sets from the likes of A-Trak, GTA, and DJ Diesel (also known as former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal). The latter proved to be as powerful with the beats as he was on the court as he had his audience dancing all throughout his set. Additionally, the LA hip hop scene was hot and happening on that stage as well, with performances from Rico Nasty and JPEGMAFIA. And for the closing. they featured Major Lazer and Flux Pavilion

Back to their upcoming ’Day of the Dead’ festival, perhaps the most hotly-anticipated in the lineup is Dog Blood. This is, after all, Skrillex’s side project with Boyz Noise. The duo recently reunited and have been performing at various music festivals since early 2019. They even dropped a surprise mixtape, “Turn Off The Lights,” last May, which inevitably hyped up their fanbase. Now, news of their upcoming set in HARD’s Day of the Dead will turn up the festival even more. They’re expected to play their latest mixtape here amongst previous hits. Furthermore, Skrillex might even play new music as well as he’s teased that he’s planning to release new material within this year. Tokominsta is also one to watch out for as one of the headliners. She’s been having a great year so far, with gigs at the hottest music festivals and even a Grammy nomination. Earlier this year, the LA-based music producer got nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for “Lune Rouge,” her 2017 record. She shared that her career post-brain surgery back in 2016 inspired her album. And just last month, she successfully remixed Icelandic DJ Ólafur Arnalds‘ “They Sink”. “(I am) Instantly fascinated by her approach and sound, I was very excited to see what she would do with a track like ‘They Sink’.” shared Arnalds.

HARD’s Day Of The Dead 2019 festival will take place at the State Historic Park in Downtown Los Angeles on Nov 2, 2019. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 9, 2019. Click here to learn more details about the upcoming event. Image Credits:
