Anyone going to this year’s Movement Festival at Torino has more reasons to get excited. They just locked in a star-studded line-up for the ages! The European sister of the Detroit-based festival got the likes of Amelie Lens, Joseph Capriati, and more to perform this year. Subsequently, the theme this year is “Out Of This World” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Moon Landing.

This year, the festival is returning to its iconic location at Lingotto. Of the names announced so far, only Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati are expected to play b2b. Meanwhile, Amelie Lens, Anastasia Kristensen, Eddy M, and Dennis Cruz will all perform solo sets. Furthermore, Michael Bibi, DJ Bone, PAWSA and ANOTR have all signed on to play at the festival as well. And these are just the names put out so far. Festival-goers can expect Movement Torino to lock in a lot more prominent artists in the coming months.
Apart from the standard sets, the festival offers a flurry of other activities as well. Within the whole week-long duration of the event, they plan to hold lectures, conferences and more. There will also be special showcases from prominent artists that are yet to be named. Additionally, the even planned an exclusive event at the Torino Airport Departures Lounge. Though for now, they’ve yet to release the whole schedule of events and the artists taking part in them.
