BTS army, get your wallets ready! Your favorite K-Pop boy band is releasing their own capsule collection in collaboration with Line Friends and Uniqlo. The Japanese brand’s latest UT line features an array of T-shirts designed by the seven members of BTS and printed with a few characters from the Korean-founded messaging app.
A stylish selection of quality tees, all pieces showcase “BT21,” the Line Friends characters based off of each member of the group. There’s Koya (Rap Monster), RJ (Jin), Shooky (Suga), Mang (J-Hope), Chimmy (Jimin), Tata (V), and Cooky (Jungkook). A new character, Van, debuts in the line too. Consequently, all items are colored with a wide palette of cartoonish pastels and broody navies. A highly likely best-seller in the bunch is a black shirt that not only features all the characters but the signatures of BTS members as well. Meanwhile, a blue tee with the words “DANCING MACHINE MANG” is bound to catch some attention. And the pretty “PINKISH TOUGH BUNNY” will tickle anyone pink.

Subsequently, this new collaboration comes at the heels of a flurry of other partnerships the Japanese retail giant has entered into this year. For their UT line alone, they’ve collaborated with the likes of Blizzard Entertainment, NIGO, Jun Takahashi and KAWS this year. The latter even caused a stampede at a mall in China when their collab first dropped. And similarly to it, this new line featuring one of the most sought-after musical acts in the world is rife with pandemonium-causing frenzy.
Uniqlo will drop their latest UT line with BTS and Line Friends this Friday, June 21, 2019. Fans can buy them at select stores worldwide and online.
